It's Hard to Concentrate on Knitting Lace

The first of three hailstorms this evening. At least we got rain, since unlike the people in the tragically flooded Midwest, we are experiencing a lengthy drought. (The barren ground is not due to drought--we are killing out some particularly stubborn wild trash grasses in order to go back with native grass.)

Wow, you got a lot more weather than we did. It only rained here for about 10 minutes!

I'm assuming this is unusual for you? We, however, are having our usual hot dry summer...107 today.

I hope you and yours are all fine after the storms. We had rain and wind and there are some trees and limbs are down in the neighborhood. But we are fine.
